Are there any guides on how to enable SSL on Ipboard in certain areas? I really havent seen much, if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be cool.

Looking to enable in the following places:

ACP Login Page

ACP Dashboard

Forum Login Page

Forum Create Account page

 

It's done in conf_global.php - you change the board url to include https://...  It's a global setting that applies to all areas.

What if I only want it in certain areas though? 

You only have these options:

  • http everywhere
  • http everywhere, https for logins (search ACP for "Use https for logins and the AdminCP?") - I think this makes the ACP https as well IIRC
  • https everywhere

I can't seem to get HTTPS for logins to work correctly though.
