Commerce - Changing default view of product group and other options

There should be more options available for customizing the display of the products in your store. Some that I can think of off the top of my head are:

• Ability to manually order featured and/or new products on the store home page.
• Ability to specify grid or list view for featured and/or new products on the store home page.
• Ability to specify grid or list view as default when viewing a store category.
• Ability to specify default sort by when viewing a store category.
