Adriano Faria Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Maybe collapse like a forum category, with cookie. The warn would still be there, with the title "A new update is available" but the details collapsed.
gbstn10 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Maybe just upgrade. Look at all the bugs that are in your current version.
xtech Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 My version is running fine. I see that current versions are still buggy. The last time i converted from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 had my site down an entire night, so i am not wishing go through that again this soon. I suppose IPS wants you to always upgrade. I sense that if you do not renew the licence you will have renew it just to avoid scrolling down a hundred times.

xtech Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 it should be collapsible or something and reappear every so often.Agree!
Izaya Orihara Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Agree! But I am also oblivious to most things so I notice it but then I half the time don't xD
Square Wheels Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I agree this needs to be addressed. Upgrading to make it go away isn't an option, now there are future release notes listed too.
Tom_F Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I agree this needs to be addressed. Upgrading to make it go away isn't an option, now there are future release notes listed too.It does go away when you update to 4.0.8, though.
genrobgen Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I like it.But that's probably because I religiously always update to the latest version. If I had a good reason not to update, I can see that it would be annoying.
Mark Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Even if we made it dismissible you'd have to upgrade to get that But yes, it shouldn't show future versions. They should be gone now.
socceronly Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 If there an equivalent of 'First World Problems' for software?
