Posted May 29, 20159 yr For example, you are writing a long post, is there an option to save this as a draft? Also, if there is a browser crash, does IPB retrieve what you had when you log back in?Thanks.
May 29, 20159 yr Posts are automatically saved in local storage memory of the browser until it is submitted to the server. This means that you could accidentally/intentionally close your browser and when you return to the post form your text will still be there. It also covers the case of a browser crash. The problem you run into is when you hit a problem during submission such as you have been logged out, or the server has become unavailable, in which case the post may be cleared from local storage and subsequently lost.
