IPB 4 not ready and not perfect product

I tried to upgrade yesterday from 3.4.7 to 4.6.1 and I faced problems with the attachments, format of the entire text of the posts and I can not add any reply to any topic

I will add also the lack of knowledge help of the pages product which I consider it as a complicated product designed for the professional that have coding background while I don't have.

I'm familiar with joomla and little bit wordpress and even vbulletin had a good cms with friendly user interface better than IP pages, that is why IP pages really not good for the people don't have any technical background like me.

the above is my opinion and I hope the management take care about the forums owners like me, because I bought the IP board and pages because I am not web site designer I don't have time to learn html or any programing language.

Pages does have a WYSIWYG as well. I am not the smartest webdev, but pages does a pretty good job.

Yup I have problems with forum attachments as well. My support ticket is still open and I'm not sure if there will be any progress. The download system also was affected and some downloads won't download or the files have been removed.

I've done like 3-4 updates with Zero Problems Of course saying that, I am sure my next update I do will give me tons of problems. Just kidding. But yeah I'll definitely recommend IPB users to upgrade(or even non-ipb users to convert) to 4 as I have had no serious issues with updating and only one major issue has popped up(that while major isn't that big a deal as it only happened once so far). Sorry to hear about your issues though.
