Just a quick question.

Either YouTube has changed something or something on VideoBox has possibly changed. I noticed now that if you use a standard URL from the browser for a YouTube video and put it in the "External URL" field when submitting a video, it will submit, but the video does not work.

You now have to specifically get the video URL.

For instance, if I used this it will not work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5HvWN6d42g&ab_channel=IntelNewsroom

However if I get the video URL (by right clicking on the video and selecting "Copy Video URL") it will work, such as this: https://youtu.be/G5HvWN6d42g

We used to be able to just use the long browser URL. Did something change ?

Thanks for creating and supporting this app!

Bug

The fix "Missing posting information for guest" from version 4.4.5, it's only working for comments, guest can submit review without registering.

I can't reproduce the problem. Do you enable this option?

Could contain: Text, Nature, Outdoors

The posting information works for review

Could contain: File, Text, Webpage

You need to disable that option if you don't want to allow guest to post before registering.

The problem is that there is a conflict, when clicking on send the user should be redirected to the registration page and not publish the content immediately.

Could contain: Text, Label

Is the form not outdated? In other IPS4 apps it works correctly.

Another observation is that others request for email, in this username.

Could contain: Text, Page

I found the problem. It will be fixed in next version.

I found that the date parameter in the REST API response for videos is returning an integer, but the rest of the IPB API uses strings for dates. This is preventing me from being able to sort different types of items in chronological order in my application.

Improvement

Every time the content is edited the system generates a new ID of "vid", so if the user saves the link to a server or part and the content is edited, when he returns he will get a blank page.

Ex: https://demo.ipsviet.com/video/view/743-cymbeline-ranh-giới-2014/?area=online&serverID=1&vid=123

Why then don't you redirect the user to "/?area=online" when that happens?

I will update it.

@onlyME I see you've made the changes, is it already available in version 4.5.2 or next?
