I did the wampserver update to prepare everything before updating the site

I can not reproduce this issue, the newest version support reactions.

And the profile activity has no problem

I think your templates haven't been updated. So you need to revert them (click "save", then click "revert" for all templates of videobox).

I must be expressing myself wrong by the translator

I saw on your link that the reaction was "haha", so this reaction must have come after the 4.2x update

What I mean is the old videos that got 'Like', they just disappear. It's like they're posted again, with no likes (but the likes are still counted in the members' accounts)

It uses Reactions of ips 4.2. There is no old 'Like' system. Clicking on the number to see a popup display how many likes, haha, thanks....

If you don't like other reactions you can configure in IPS, not videobox.

Thanks OnlyME.

In addition, profile activities also disappeared

After upgrading, go to Dashboard you will see a Background progresses, you need to wait until they all complete to fix the activities in profile.

I will send you a test version to fix the reputations.

Considerations for Near future add ons/updates

1. Live Streams supporting YTGaming Channels....this is separate from a regular YT Channel and only is for YouTube Live broadcasting, just like Twitch, Mixer, Smashcast

2. Videos to support Vidme and Twitch Videos

3. Make the system tie into Core Member search so the follow button appears on the Preview page before you click you on the video or stream.......or make the follow button appear on the actual Video Post or Stream Post

All this for better user engagement, and guests looking in that they will want to join and sign up

All these features/Add ons, i'm willing to pay good money to have this happen

I tried it many times, but I don't have a solution. Its api needs a request to get X live videos in a channel, and X requests to get the info. So complex.

Please give me the example url. I will let you know how to use the Media Tags.

No, I only concentrate the videos.

@onlyME

Everything worked except twitch videos, for some reason its not pulling the video and showing on front end

Question

What if we try this with the YouTube Gaming Channels? Couldn't we just make a media tag for it? or have you already tried this?

Thanks again for all your help

I see you used Daily motion Media tag,

so are you saying i should use that instead of the twitch one you gave me a few minutes ago?

I just upgraded to 4.2.5 beta 3

for some reason the twitch media tag and the Dailymotion media tag are not bringing the video out to play on front end

Sry for all the confusion

@onlyME lol i'm back

So, i am having a serious problem with members knowing the difference between Videos and Streams

My Videobox is setup to have Videos, and twitch, Mixer, Smashcast streams

My Members are getting confused as to thinking that YT Live Gaming goes in the streams category

I have the language changed to have it saying whats what

Then i thought about having The Streams Category have Streams as a Container and then have sub cat. as twitch, Mixer, Smashcast

But....

When i set all these up, and have all of them have sort option as Live Status...the live Status Streams don't show in the Container Streams, it goes back to showing offline streams instead of the online ones like the option i picked in acp settings

Do you know why this happens

Do you mean the sorting setting does not work for the container category?
