if you look at the toolbar phone .. you see that all of the function buttons are gone ..

You can remove all those function buttons for desktop and tablet ..

This is as far as it goes .. but yes .. people that know bbcode they still can use it that way (that hardly happens) ..

In the code (I think it will be the JavaScript of CKEditor) the bbcode can be removed ..

There are many plugins on the CKEditor website, maybe a switch off to a minimal is possible ..

 

Removing all the function buttons is the easiest way, without any hiccups ..

You will have to go far to limit the bbcode .. if we can find the right JavaScript and tweak it ..
