Blogs have this ability when they will be made public.

This logic needs to be extended to forums and to Ads there are cases where content is embargoed until a certain time. 

I think Ads already had this in them.

​Would it be a good idea to star at 12:00AM of that day? The time would be for more of a users and not everybody I would think. For tracking also I think it be better to have it on that day of.

no sometimes i get ads that are embargoed until 6am on a date - and it would be nice to set them or have the advertiser set them up let them choose when they go live - the logic already exists - in blogs - repurposing it would on other areas only improve the product.
