It's a bit difficult - one might even call it impossible - to approve IP.Gallery images in the Approval Queue when you can't see the images.

Honestly, how am I supposed to approve the images when I don't even know what the image displays?  It only shows the image title and image description in text, but not the photography.  

You might want to tag one of the IPS team, not sure who heads them up? Is it @Rikki? Seems crazy that you can't quickly see images you're approving? Unless, like the mobile page navigation (1,2,3 and a redundant 'next') being a bit naff, this is 'functioning as intended'
