I'm not sure how to explain this but it's easy to show with pictures:

Then you click one of the links and we get this:

The listing of the articles is produced 3 times when you select an article.

I looked at the Template, it's just the stock template.  and I guess i don't understand enough about the template as i can't see any place where it would produce that 3 times...

Just from the pictures I wouldn’t know what is going on there. One would have to look at your page setup and the templates it is calling. 

If you create a support ticket in the client area, IPS staff will surely do that for you.
