Emoticons in monthly based folders and finding other ways of managing their storage

I haven't seen any topic or post on this yet so I want to ask how you are storing your emoticons using the new IPS4 storage settings?

On my test board I have created emoticons uploads subdirectory where the emoticons are placed by the system in monthly based folders. But I'm not sure if the monthly based folders for emoticons is practical.

I'm thinking if it would be better to:

• place them all in the emoticons directory
• and even have custom ones in their own folder

I also would like to know:

how I change the monthly naming to something different so they are all placed together in the emoticon subdirectory.
