Using Mandrill Email App

Featured Replies

Posted

I am using the Mandrill email app with our 3.4 community, and I'd like to know if any Mandrill users here have found a way to clean up the "From" field in the recipients inboxes.

My from "From" field looks like this

administrator@mail128-132.atl41.mandrillapp.com; on behalf of; administrator@thepatriotwoodworker.com

instead of simply From: administrator@thepatriotwoodworker.com

Any help or ideas on how to change this to pretty up the from field is greatly appreciated.

Have you made a free account with mandrill and input the key into your IPS ACP panel?

We used mandrill for testing for a while and had no problem with our From field.

HI John,

You need to set up the SPF record for Mandrill so that they can send email from your email address. There's information about this on the Mandrill website.

have noot had chance to deal with it but I was wondering too. mandrill allows template editing so I think there is a manner there.
