Kevin Carwile
That's a server generated error and not an IPB generated error. You may have a problem in your .htaccess file, as that is usually the culprit for me when that type of error shows up. That means that the log is not going to be in the IPB logs directory, but rather the server logs directory. You can rename your .htaccess file temporarily to see if the error persists so you'll know if thats the cause or not. Roger A. Smith
Another common cause is ownership or permissions being incorrect for the uploaded files.-- Roger
Mark H
Internal Server Error = 500 Error. You need to check the Apache Error Log (not the PHP error log) for your IP Address, and find the entries that have that 500 error recorded. That will tell you the actual underlying error which triggered the 500 Error. Captain Ginns
And where is the Apache Error log located?
Mark H
That depends on the server and its Operating System. You'd have to ask your host to do that on shared, or managed dedicated, hosting.
