Maybe I'm just confused, but ... I'm confused. :-)

I've created two Category forums (each without a parent) - one called "Discussions" and the other called "Links."

The "Discussions" forum has one child, a Discussions forum called "Discussion."

The "Links" forum has one child, a Redirect called "Link,"

When I view the site, I only see the "Discussion" forum.

If I set the permissions so that the "Discussions" and "Discussion" forums are not visible, then I see the "Link" forum.  But, I can't figure out how to get both categories and both child forums to display.

That certainly sounds like an odd one. I would post that as a bug in the bug tracker personally.
