Sorry if the answer is out there somewhere, but searching has only resulted in an increase in my confusion. 

I have a IP hosted site running 3.4.6, but would like a test site running 4.0. I do not see the option in my Client Area that I have seen during my searches that shows anything other than my normal site.

Can someone advise if this is possible, and a nice little guide or link if it is.

Test installs are unfortunately not available on our hosted communities. You would need to have a Standard License to do so.

Ok, no problem, not something that is important for me at present
