craigf136
OK, so I decided today to tackle the upgrade again today (test install), it failed on all previous attempts. Although I did things slightly differently this time around, I removed all non core hooks and applications. I deleted all skins apart from IP.Board (set this as default) and mobile then updated the upload paths and the global_config.php with the relevant url. I updated the site to 3.4.7 (test install) and then proceeded to the upgrade. I then converted the database to UTF8MB and this converted all tables accordingly with no errors.(previously failed to convert streams tables from twitch app). I then upgraded the forum, it would normally provide a couple of errors, step 1 applications step 8 etc. However, nothing, nada, no error messages at all. To my amazment, message appear, the upgrade has completed please continue to the suite (or words to those effects). Oh oh Admin CP I then took a downloaded skin (default) from a previous fresh install and uploaded it and set it as default for all members, but nada, nothing - same skin issue occurs. Any suggestions? I'll post a bug if it hasn't been raised already?
craigf136
Actually I've sorted it (skin wise). Although I do have errors accessing members so I check that and post a bug. I had to change theme on the forum itself and I had to also set ACP theme to the one I had added. Now I have no skin issue but members error (as I say, I'll post this to bugs).A configuration or server error has occurred EX2 exception 'ErrorException' with message 'Invalid argument supplied for foreach()' in /IPS4-Alpha-Release/applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php:110 Stack trace: #0 /IPS4-Alpha-Release/applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php(110): IPS\IPS::errorHandler(2, 'Invalid argumen...', '/...', 110, Array) #1 /IPS4-Alpha-Release/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(94): IPS\core\modules\admin\members\_members->manage() #2 /IPS4-Alpha-Release/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(124): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #3 /IPS4-Alpha-Release/area51/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #4 {main}
D-rA
Did you have a folder "uploads" from version 3.4.7 at start update 4.0?
craigf136
I did yes, I copied the entire directory (all folders, all files) for the current active forum and put the copy into the test install directory.

pisaldi
Hi, I have the same problem... I've posted messages in this forum and also post in the bug tracker, but as you can see there, the problem is caused by paths... it is said that it is not a bug, but no way to solve it... http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/problem-after-upgrading-with-a-v347-skin-r125/
craigf136
All good, the default skin for V4 was active, once I made everyone use this and changed the default to the uploaded one everything worked fine. It's still running background processes, so I'll let these run and see how things go - but as it stands I can't view or edit members from the ACP. I'm not that fussed tbh, it's the furthest I have got with the beta / test install upgrade.
