I'm managing my companies IPS Community message boards and have been asked to export an RSS feed from our message board to our main site. Unfortunately these are on two different domains, so my AJAX query is giving me an "Origin is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin" error.

I have two questions.

1) Shouldn't this header be set by default for all exported RSS feeds?

2) If this is an option I can enable, where can I do so in the IPS Admin?

You'd need to login with your Customer account and ask the question is a relevant support area, or have the license holder login and ask (or file a ticket to support).

The license holder can also add you as an Alternate Contact so you can file tickets on their behalf.

But as this is not a Suggestion or Idea, the topic will have to be closed.
