I would love one button that uploads image from your computer somehow to forum

Is there anyway to upload image to server? from Image button.

If you click the 'More Reply Options' button you can add attachments

In IPB4 you can just 'drag' your images to be posted

There is one hook, with which you can upload images to your server:

'?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

IPB4 where I can get that?

Is that hook Simon hard to put ?

The last version of ipb is here:

But i'm not sure if the above shown hook is compatible with this version.

No my friend, it's easy enough to add this hook: Just upload the contents of the file to your host and before do this better to see the "readme". Good luck! :smile:

Well, i cannot find the appropriate folder to upload the hook.

The one folder must be the following: root directory---> httpdocs-----> admin.

Unfortunately, i cannot find this one.

I found the other folder (uploads), but i dont see any option to create or upload a folder."

 

Confused. Your default installation of IPS will upload images from your editor (front-end) to the server. This has to be correctly configured in your ACP. You have to select the image though through the browser function, the computer doesn't read your thoughts
