chromaniac Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I moved to IPB from vB and the biggest annoyance for me has been the editor. Formatting toolbar does not work in the BBCODE mode. The visual editor is a pain because it mess up formatting (spacing around quotes). I know they are merging the post editor in IPB4 which would not have a BBCODE view at all so here is a feature request.I am not sure if it is possible but it would be very nice if you could add a keyboard shortcut for adding link to selected text. Control+K is basically the universal shortcut. I ask this because IPB does not fetch and use the title tag of the link for the link in post pages. I have asked this as a feature request but apparently not many people are interested in this functionality. So I have been pushing myself to create links the proper way. And not having a keyboard shortcut for the same is a major headache as I have to shuffle between the mouse and the keyboard. I am not sure if the editor in IPB4 would have extensive support for keyboard shortcuts. I would love it if it does! I moved to IPB from vB and the biggest annoyance for me has been the editor.
