IP.Content Promote Content Idea

I know a lot of members here are waiting to see what the IP.Content aspect of IPB 4 has in store for those that use the add-on. I figured I would throw this out there and see if I get any supporters for this. Referring to this topic I know that we have the option to promote topics to articles. but what about promoting content to custom databases?

I know this sounds like its not a god idea but here me out. This would be well used for those that use IP.Content and would help site content building

• Can be group and forum based allow what forum can promote same thing for groups.
• Easy way to add more content to your custom database.
• Less time consuming to add the content.

The biggest flaw is that you can only assign title and body field between forums and databases. If you have 20 other “custom” fields, they will all be empty. Not so much of a time saver.

you do have a point there... Hmmmm... atleast import the content into the body and all then you can sort out where everything else goes...
