I realise it's probably a little late in the day for 3.4.X so a suggestion for version 4, if not already covered.

When posting an announcement I noticed it would not parse all BBCode. I had to switch to allowing HTML to be able to post images, whilst other BBCode such as URLs would post just fine.

I would like to be able to use BBCode in an announcement just as I would for a forum post and for this to be handled accordingly.

(if it does already do this then I might have a problem...)

It seems to work fine for me, actually, testing locally. It sounds like the image BB Code is simply disabled for Announcements. I would recommend submitting a support request so we can look closer. :)
