Introducing a mostly flat css based easy to read dark minimal skin with customizable elements and enhancements. Such as a sociable footer and even a welcome message to guests.

  • Customized footer with social, extra links and an about us section.
  • Guest message built into the theme itself, customizable.
  • Mostly based on CSS with some CSS3 tweaks, faster loading speeds due to lack of not so needed images.
  • Comes with psd for logo as well as the font.
  • Font awesome icons in navbar.
  • Rotating avatars.
  • Animated logo shaking.
  • Animated scrolling header background.
  • Colored scroll bars to match the skin "only on chrome".
  • Dark matching editor.
  • Custom elements such as the social footer and guest messages are able to be customized, simply expand the templates and edit the templates listed as _embers.

Embers is based off the default IPB skin and should be compatible with most if not all hooks and apps.
Embers is my second skin, so there may be issues however i am willing to fix those issues, just leave them in the support topic :D
Please do not redistribute, as this is quite affordable compared to other skins, it also motivates me to present more fixes and update this quite more frequently.

The class user_controls needs to be changed to fit your skin, looks really weird with a dark skin. (the color)

Changed it for now to:

.user_controls li a{
	height: 26px;
	line-height: 26px;
	font-size: 11px;
	padding: 0 10px;
	border: 0;
	background: #393939 url('{style_images_url}/highlight_faint.png') repeat-x 0 0;
	/*border: 1px solid #d0d0d0;*/
	/*-moz-box-shadow: 0px 1px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.1), inset rgba(255,255,255,0.7) 0px 1px 0px;
	-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 1px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.1), inset rgba(255,255,255,0.7) 0px 1px 0px;
	box-shadow: 0px 1px 2px rgba(0,0,0,0.1), inset rgba(255,255,255,0.7) 0px 1px 0px;*/
	-moz-border-radius: 2px;
	-webkit-border-radius: 2px;
	border-radius: 2px;
	color: #fff;
	text-shadow: rgba(0,0,0,0.8) 0px -1px 0px;
	display: inline-block;
	white-space: nowrap;
	cursor: pointer;

Also it looks really weird when in a IP.Content database, would like to see an update to fix this.

Can't edit my post again, but I was able to do most of the editing I needed on my own through the course of the day.  I am still a bit confused on your answer to HighlanderX above though.  I have two remaining navi links that I need updated to the new style with a custom image but I have absolutely no idea where to store both the image and where to update the css.
