[rct] World Clocks


World Clocks is a fully featured sidebar with an AdminCP interface for displaying a huge variety of time zones, Member's local time, and time in up to 6 cities around the world.
 
AdminCP Features

  • Displays the time in a single time zone defined at http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/
  • Display the logged in Member's local time
  • Displays the time in up to 6 cities around the world, defined at http://uk1.php.net/manual/en/timezones.php
  • Displays the time difference between the cities and one of the following reference points (UTC, GMT, Member's local time or any other time zone)
  • Displays whether a city is currently observing Daylight Saving Time (DST)
  • On/Off switch for showing Clocks to Guests
  • Displays in any Date & Time format supported by the PHP date() function
  • 2 selectable clock styles designed by steve00

Sidebar Features

  • Error messages in Sidebar when Admins have selected incompatible options
  • All text used is imported into language files, and output is skinned so you can edit to suit or localize

System Requirements

  • Runs on all v3 boards from 3.2.3 onwards
  • Requires PHP 5.3 or higher
  • Fully automatic install and deinstall, no hand edits required

Update 14 September 2015, to reformat the description after it was 'kludged' when the site here was upgraded to v4. No changes to the code.

I love this, only issue I have is it is showing my local date as November 14th 2011


There appears to be a problem with this hook, and the free Lite version, when displaying the logged in Member's local time, where the wrong day, month and year might be displayed!

I cannot reproduce the problem in my environment.

Please let me know if you have this problem.
