Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Captain Ginns Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Know you guys are pretty busy. In your thoughts, maybe someday, you might think about butting several buttons in the same table as a post. The same table you are reading, like this one. Have three buttons so I don't have to go back out from the post I'm reading: Previous, Next, Start New....all refereeing to posts by the user. Just a thought. Graphic enclosed. Thanks.
AndyF Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 From what I remember the 'New Topic' was removed when viewing an existing topic as some users would occasionally click that instead of 'reply', so it was hidden to prevent any confusion. I think there's a third party hook to add it back, failing that a skin edit would probably restore it.
Adriano Faria Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 New topic button restored: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
Captain Ginns Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 This is why I moved Lynx Airways Worldwide to IPS...the support from the IPS Community is the best I've ever experienced. Thanks: New Topic hook has been inserted and it's up and running.
Captain Ginns Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 While I was in the neighborhood. Any thoughts on the "Next" and "Previous" button. Not the next or previous unread or read...just the next or previous post. I use that a lot on my site and so do my Pilot's. Thought I'd ask. Thanks.
Captain Ginns Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Please move this to the Community Suite Feedback forum. Thanks.
