BN_IT_Support
Can you make a setting in 4.0 to allow guests to upload attachments please. I know most folk might not need it, and there are associated risks, but I do need it and at the moment am having to hack the class_attach.php file. Thanks
Dmacleo
doesn't changing the global upload limit and per post upload limit setting from -1 (disabling uploads) to a figure do it in guests settings under global tab? the way it reads it should then allow it and if it doesn't maybe its a bug? also in each forum permissions need to set group to allow uploads. AndyF
I have a bug report about allowing guests access to the flash uploader (as with no #ID it defaults to the legacy uploader) IIRC it was flagged to be fixed in IPS4. They should be able to access the legacy uploader (single file at a time) though.
AndyF
Just retested it works fine on 34x: IIRC all versions that have allowed uploaded files permit guests to do so when enabled. As above, check the forum and group permissions if its not working for you. , if you're not sure please post in the Support area of the forum or submit a ticket in the Client Area for assistance.
