Axel Wers
I have heard terrible news, that current language translation won't be compatible with IPS 4.0 and a new translation will be need. So I am asking: Is that true?
Adriano Faria
Probably is. It wasn't compatible from IP.Board 2 to 3. I think this is expected. Too much work waits for me.
bfarber
The 4.0 Suite is being redeveloped and redesigned from the ground up. Yes. There will be new and different language strings. Just like 3.x skins won't work on 4.0. The upshot is that translations will be FAR better supported. We'll blog about this in more detail in due course. bfarber
We are not prepared to discuss the changes to translations just yet. When we are ready to, we will post in our blog about them.
