Leo Light
Sorry if I'm confused about how this works but, do I need your bridge, AND Dmitry's to work both ways? If someone registers on the joomla site, and clicks on "forums" that redirects to the ipb site...will they be automatically logged in? Or will they have to login again? sijad
Hi, Sorry if I'm confused about how this works but, do I need your bridge, AND Dmitry's to work both ways? yes you do If someone registers on the joomla site, and clicks on "forums" that redirects to the ipb site...will they be automatically logged in? Or will they have to login again? No, they have to sign-in again
Leo Light
hmm...im definitely more interested in a smooth SSO integration. auto-logins going from one site to the other. Why would one not take that approach? Harder? Not possible?
Dylan Riggs
Harder, most definitely. It's a basic bridge, it might be something he'll improve on down the road, who knows.
Leo Light
I'll be interested in a simple, smooth SSO going either way...not a bridge. I would NOT expect it to be free either. I'd like it so that users can sign up on either site, and when linked over to the other site, they notice they are already logged in.
Tope Odoffin
hi sijad i downloaded your plugin and added my credentials from Joomla but for some reason it gives me a username/password incorrect when i try to login from the joomla side. i tried using External Database that is builtin IPB and this comes up. however your plugin seems to be not compatible with Joomla 3.1. any ideas ? tyekynan
I am also having issues. I went through all of the instruction steps, and receive username/password incorrect error. Using the lastest joomla and ipboard. Thanks in advance.
