File Name: Harlem Shake!

File Submitter: Martin A.

File Submitted: 15 Feb 2013

File Category: Look and Feel

Adds a button to the bottom of your page, clicking it makes your whole site do a "Harlem Shake" (Link #2)

With the latest version you can use this as an April Fools Day joke. The Harlem Shake can start automatically once your members signs in on April 1st, and/or the first time they visit the board that day ( Note: It will only be triggered once ).
It can also load an easter egg built in to IP.Board, which was only accessible by adding something to the URL. To my knowledge, this hasn't worked at all in 3.4. The button on the bottom of the page can be hidden, so your members wont have any idea that this is available.

Firefox and Opera does not have HTML5 support for playing MP3 audio, this hook will not function on those browsers.
It will however function on most modern day handheld devices.

Ahahahahahahahaha..

*picks self off floor*

awesome! :D

:D

While I have you here, any reason why this only works on the default skin at OTHut?

Excellent!

Any chance of a group permission setting?

Thank you :)

No, I will not be over-complicating this.

Hmmm. Just found that if I hit the 'h' button in the Shoutbox text input area the shake starts, I think my members will soon get annoyed with it.

Can it be sorted?

Fixed that.

No you didn't install it "as per instructions". You've altered the javascript file.

var firstNode = $( 'anonymous_element_143' ).down( 1 );

That's not how I wrote it, but I see why you did that. Your skin doesn't have a regular logo, so you thought you could put the ID of an anonymous element in there, but the fact is that the ID of an anonymous element changes all the time.

I'm assuming it's the IP.Content menu you want as the first element, use 'nav_app_ccs' instead.

I see, I use pro menu, Doesn't seem to work on IP.Content. I'm guessing you haven't added support?

Hey everyone,

We're running version 3.4.3 and we just downloaded this. We've uploaded the files from the Upload folder and imported the XML file in the Manage Hooks page of our Admin Panel. All we see however, is a broken image where the button is supposed to go. Are we missing something simple?

Thanks.
