The most annoying bug of 3.4.2 ( http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-board/delete-first-row-in-quote-r40935 ) isn't on this patch!

To be honest with you, the bug isn't fixed here yet.

Look see... Deleting just the first letter of the quote...

No. The patch is included within the IP.Board 3.4.2 download. If you downloaded IPB before that post was made, then yes, you would need to download it separately.

I thought that was the case as it has been in the past - just checking.

If we publicly announce a patch, then 99% of the time it is included within the download before the announcement is made. The ones that are not, are the ones stored within our Knowledge Base (unless stated otherwise, of course). :)

We couldn't include every fix, and some fixes are more involved than others (such as the quote one you linked to - it requires recompiling ckeditor files and then including multiple specific files in the patch).

We are working hard on 3.4.3 and maintenance releases for our apps, where that bug and many others will be resolved.

I found minor error in the patch (). File admin/sources/base/core.php is in wrong place admin/sources/classes/base/core.php . So core.php is not overwriten and changes does not apply.

Installed the patch. Now the delete button isn't working, and neither are the issues that were supposedly fixed. I tried reinstalling, checking the files, etc.....and nothing.

Seems with every 1 upgrade, it creates 10 more problems.

We just recently fixed a handful of issues related to using the delete key in the editor. Please try clearing your cache and then testing in our Test Posting forum to see if you can still reproduce the problem. If not, the fix will be included with 3.4.4, otherwise please submit a bug report with details.
