Hi I have promenu set up and used for a while, on one of the nav items I I wanted to create the below, but not appearing good at all (raw html). How does the mega menu work, would that be best for what I'm trying to do.

if your trying to create the above content using HTML .. this would be a good base to work from:

<style type="text/css" media="screen">
  .body-container {
    margin: 5px;
    text-align: left;
    width: 500px;
  }

  .text-container {
    background-color: #ffffff;
    font-size: 13px;

  }

  h1 {
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 26px;
    color: #193461;
    padding:15px 5px 15px 5px;
  }

  .desc {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #193461;
    padding:5px;
  }

  .divwrapper ul{
    color: #000000;
    list-style-type: disc;
  }
  .divwrapper li > a {
    color: #6E69A3;
    text-decoration: underline;
  }

  .divwrapper li > a:hover {
    color: #ff7400 !important;
    background: none !important;
  }

  .divwrapper li > a:active {
    color: #b4e391 !important;
    background: none !important;
  }

  .footer {
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #000;
    padding:5px 10px;
  }

  .footer a {
    color: #7B6150;
  }

  .footer a:hover {
    color: #ff7400;
  }

  .footer a:active {
    color: #b4e391;
  }

  .divwrapper {
    padding-left: 40px;
  }

</style>

<div class="body-container">
  <div class="text-container">
    <h1>Food Safety Business Directory</h1>
    <div class="desc">
      <p><i>Your one stop shop for food safety solutions</i></p>
    </div>
    <table width='100%'>
      <tr>
        <td width='50%'>
          <div class="divwrapper">
            <ul>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Standards</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Certification Bodies</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Consultants</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Training</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Packaging Safety Training</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Manuals</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Products & Services</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Equipment & Facilities</a></li>
            </ul>
          </div>
        </td>
        <td width='50%'>
          <div class="divwrapper">
            <ul>
              <li><a href="#">Food & Environmental Testing</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Ingredients & Packaging</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Food Safety Software</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Laboratory Services</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Metal Detection Systems</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">X-ray Inspection Systems</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Pest Control</a></li>
              <li><a href="#">Sanitation & Hygiene</a></li>
            </ul>
          </div>
        </td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    <div class="footer">
      <p>Want to list your business in the directory, <a href="#">Click here</a> to find out how!</p>
      <p><a href="#">Feel free</a> to suggest a category.</p>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

which would look like this:

or use the mega menu setup as CodingJungle suggested .. set your number of rows and create your menus.

Thanks very much Robert.

I tried it and comes out a bit messy (see attached) and also makes the text on the forum bigger.

Can you please provide any more advice.

Thanks.

define the style alittle more will resolve the text enlargment issue .. something like

<style type="text/css" media="screen">
  .body-container {
    margin: 5px;
    text-align: left;
    width: 500px;
  }

  .text-container {
    background-color: #ffffff;
    font-size: 13px;

  }

  .body-container h1 {
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 26px;
    color: #193461;
    padding:15px 5px 15px 5px;
  }

  .body-container .desc {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #193461;
    padding:5px;
  }

  .body-container .divwrapper ul{
    color: #000000;
    list-style-type: disc;
  }
  .body-container .divwrapper li > a {
    color: #6E69A3;
    text-decoration: underline;
  }

  .body-container .divwrapper li > a:hover {
    color: #ff7400 !important;
    background: none !important;
  }

  .body-container .divwrapper li > a:active {
    color: #b4e391 !important;
    background: none !important;
  }

  .body-container .footer {
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #000;
    padding:5px 10px;
  }

  .body-container .footer a {
    color: #7B6150;
  }

  .body-container .footer a:hover {
    color: #ff7400;
  }

  .body-container .footer a:active {
    color: #b4e391;
  }

  .body-container .divwrapper {
    padding-left: 40px;
  }

</style>

Hi,

I am really contemplating buying this for my site. What is/are the differences between this and Pro Menu Basic?

Thanks :smile:

ATM there only a few differences, the biggest being the ability to add custom menu groups and "Wrapper" block to name a few. ProMenu Basic is also in the EOL stage so it will only receive bug fixes. Any and all improvements/additions will solely be added to the ProMenu Plus series.

Since upgrading to IPB 3.4.6 (hope so, didn't recognize this earlier) I have the following issue:

attachicon.gifmenu issue.jpg

Any idea? I am using the standard skin.

No issues have been viewed or reported. Demo has been upgraded to IPB 3.4.6 and is functioning as intended. If your having issues and you wish for us to review it, please use our bug tracker located here.

You have to wait for a response. You have made 3 posts on the tracker. The first was tended too immediatly. The second was posted on Friday, and the third was just posted a couple hours ago. Any support requests made on a weekend may not be reviewed until the following Monday.

Trying to add a 'My Content' item to our Mobile Skin menu but I'm unsure how to achieve this. The default IPB link for 'My Content' is generated using dynamic code to grab the memberId.

Is there a method for doing this through ProMenu? Or can I use code to generate the link?

Hmmm

Have followed instructions for creating custom menu as posted at Coding Jungle but when I get to step 4 am told there is no group (see screenies below)

post-138872-0-88048200-1385819991.jpg

As can see have created a group

but in image below tells me to create a group

post-138872-0-36831900-1385819993_thumb.

Any help appreciated

UPDATE:

OK, got the above sorted (appears there were some promenu hooks needed installing .. they were disabled)

But now got another provlem

the menu preview works (when building in admincp area) but only the top line text showing but no drop down menu when hovering over text (as said works perfectly in admincp preview area)
