JamesBB
Hello... I opened a ticket for this but waiting for a reply is getting rather frustrating. I attempted to enable OpenID yesterday, I thought all way fine until I tried to log back in to my ACP only to get this error: Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /invision/admin/sources/loginauth/openid/Auth/OpenID/Consumer.php on line 1184 Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, any users not already logged in recieve this error when trying to get to the site.. So no one can really can get to the site's home page without getting this error without being logged in. No one can register etc. For the record I have made no custom mods no changes to the file listed above, all is as standard from IPS. I'm running IP.Board 3.4.
Grumpy
I think IPB dropped support for OpenID. You should just not use it.
JamesBB
I think IPB dropped support for OpenID. You should just not use it. So if it's been dropped why is it still provided as an option, and at that it still doesn't solve to problem of how to fix the issue I have right now. Grumpy
Found the exact post for you. Should explain. The answer is that you cannot fix the issue. You probably still have it as an option because the file was never deleted as you upgraded. It's not packaged with the newer versions.
JamesBB
Sorry.. I should have elaborated what I mean by fix it... As in set openid to disabled/off/whatever to get rid of it so I can accept visitors again. I don't care if it's been removed I'm quite happy to go without it but I still need a way to remove it with my acp inaccessible.
