Sending a PM with too many emoticons results in blank page without error message

Hi,

I experienced an issue over at http://www.yiiframework.com/forum/

I struggled for almost one hour to send a longer PM via yiiframework.com/forum.
I had a text longer text, which simply was not send via PM - I just got a blank white page when trying to send it, tested with FF and Safari.

So I decided to post this message publicly, but then I received the error:
You have posted a message with more emoticons that this board allows.
Please reduce the number of emoticons you've added to the message

I had exactly one  but in some code examples there were strings like "???" - which were not shown as a emoticon, but apparently counted as one.

At least you should get an error message at the PM screen.
