This application will allow you to add unlimited custom profile blocks for your user groups. You can add a custom profile block to a group per group basis, to several groups and/or to all groups all together.

This is ideal imho if you want to personalize your groups profiles with something special so they can stand out.

Installation and Configuration:

To install this application, upload the admin folder inside the Upload folder to the root of your forum folder. Then go to your Admin Panel->Applications & Modules->Manage Applications & Modules and on the right side where it says: Applications Not Installed you will see a new application added called: Custom Profile Blocks. Click on the install button.

To configure it go to the Other Apps tab then from the drop down list choose Custom Profile Blocks and it will take you to the Application 's Management Area area where you can configure it accordingly to your
needs/likings.

For each custom profile block you can set the following options separately:

1) Enable/disable.

2) Choose position. You can display the custom profile block to the center or the right and/or both places in profiles.

3) Block Title!

4) Block Content! It supports the rich editor that will allow you to make it highly customizing. Html is allowed as well.

5) Profile Groups. You can choose the group/s that you want to add the custom profile block.

6) Display Order. You can edit/change the order of the custom profile blocks display.

Does this mod let members of particular groups create these blocks themselves and put it in moderation queue for approval. Or just the admin can create these blocks for different usergroups?

Only the admin can create the blocks.

No, the block contents are added/edited/deleted by the admin only.

Are there permissions for viewing such blocks--so possibly users can have an "Admin notes" section sort of deal.
