Hi there, i'm new to forum administration so forgive me if this sounds newbish.

Is there a way of changing the "likes this post" system into a "has read this post" system. ?

We use these forums as an internal communication system at our company and would like a way for people to be able to confirm they have read a post and everyone can see they have read it without having to post a message about it.

You could enter a new phrase instead of "Like this".

Thanks, so it can be done. Could I be a bit cheeky and ask for a brief outline of how I change the phrase ?

Look & Feel > Manage Languages > (click language) > Find: 'Like This' and replace it as well as the associated strings.

Alternatively, you can use this mod and not have to wonder whether somebody read it but didn't click the button.
