Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 4, 201212 yr Hi, my users are asking to see their events they have already signed to join. Also it would be nice if there would be the possibility to get a notification for that dates just in time. Or to make only a personal note of an event and get a notification just in time..... Does anybody of you know how to handle such ideas? Are there mods available to do that or is it possible to do that with the exiting version of calendar?
November 4, 201212 yr What your after would have to be a custom modification. Currently, the calendar isn't capable of doing those things out of the box. They would be nice to have though.
November 4, 201212 yr The calendar needs more visibiliy for end-users. It could use some lovin to help make it more useful.
November 5, 201212 yr Author Thanks for your reply - hopefully IPS does know that and they are already working on that......

I ask as that is tricky with it needing to be run via task. that has actually stuck in my mind, the my rsvp'ed events is a natural addition to list view. ಠ_ಠ
November 5, 201212 yr Now that about every earthling has got used to facebook events and timeline, users expect a personal calendar and related features, including RSVP. I really hope that the calendar will get a massive overhaul / feature add. Its much needed IMHO.
March 24, 201312 yr Author I would like to bring this feature in everybody's mind.....it would be really helpful for my users.....
