yes can be changed

Follow the steps below:


AdminCP > Look & Feel  >  Manage Skin Sets & Templates  >  Manage Templates in Success v1.0.1 > ipb_styles.css open

Find:

a {
	color: #3DC8F0;
	text-decoration: none;
}

	a:hover { color: #e8d500; }

replace it with a color you want to

#3DC8F0

Love the skin and I bought it however I note a few problems:

Quick search box has dark text on a dark background

No blinking cursor in quick search box when you first click in box

Members don't like the square font. I've had to manually edit ip_styles

I note on your demo site with this skin you're not using the square fonts and the quick search works. How do I get my site like yours?

Hello,

thanks for this beautiful skin. I installed it running forums software version 3.3.4.

Two questions:

1) What in detail needs to be done to get the quick search re-styled (see problem above stated by 3DKiwi).

The newest release of the skin does not work with my forum (3.3.4)

2) Where can I change the color of the font when reading posts? Actually it is kind of grey, I want a lighter color instead.

Changing the font color of the post space

AdminCP > Look & Feel > Manage Skin Sets & Templates > Manage Templates in Success v1.0.4 > ipb_styless.css open

Find:

.post_body .post { color: #a4a4a4; }

{ color: #a4a4a4; } change color code

Example:

.post_body .post { color: #fff; }

search color

Find:

#main_search {
	font-size: 12px;
	border: 0;
	padding: 0;
	background: transparent;
	width: 130px;
	outline: 0;
}

Change:

#main_search {
	font-size: 12px;
	border: 0;
	padding: 0;
	background: transparent;
	width: 130px;
	outline: 0;
	color: #fff;
}

and save..

Err.. Sorry to ask one additional thing. :unsure:

When using this skin on mobile devices (tested on iPad and TabletPC) I am getting following error in the navigation bar:

It looks like the quick navigation forces the other tabs to make a break somehow.

Do you have any idea how this can be adjusted? I already tried to resize the logo, but it did not change anything unfortunately.

As I am running ipboard version 3.3.4 the update pack will not work for me unfotunately.

Can you show me what needs to be adjusted in the templates?

More advantageous for you to keep track of the current versions of.

was corrected in a lot of the newer versions the error.

There are a lot of 3.4.2 versions template also change

it is best to be up to date

Just purchased this skin and I love it. Question concerning install. I noticed that beyond the standard install of the xml files, in the 3.4.2-update pack, there is a folder called "install" containing 3 subfolders titled css, images, and js and there is also a html index file. Am I supposed to install these manually in addition to the xml files? If so, does the js file go under admin/js or public/js? what about the index file? I'm a bit confused as the link to installation instructions doesn't mention any of this.

I also registered on your forums and haven't received an email validation. Verified my email and also selected to resend validation. Of course, I checked my spam folder, but it hasn't shown up. Can you validate me? User name is Reagan2791.

No. These files are the installation instructions. The only files you install are the 3 xml files in the xml folder.

In case you haven't caught up yet, this skin and your other skins will need updating for 3.4.3. There's been some changes to featured files with IP Downloads. To get your skins to work with featured files I had to do some template reverts after upgrading to 3.4.3

Thanks for the updates. In the most recent update the backgrounds for quoted text need changing to something else as the text can't be read.
