This will allow the selected groups to use /slap username just like the IRC /slap command.

Example output

heineken slaps bobsmith with a large trout

Styling Options

There is a CSS class you can manually add to your template stylesheet. The class is called "slapcss_target". You could apply italics, bold, colors or whatever you want.

Customization

You can customize the text output if you feel comfortable playing with PHP by changing the relevant string at line 34 in:
admin/sources/classes/bbcode/custom/slapbbcode.php

then got to your forums and make a new post and type

I installed this and it seemed really buggy.

For me, it added a line (/slap username) to every post on the forum. So I swiftly removed it. My board is known for doing stupid things, so I wont blame it on this mod yet.

I will test this further on my dev board, and report back with any issue's.

hard to say what the issue is

When you go to Look&Feel > Post Management > BBCode managment

do you see Slap! in the list?

yes... i just think it needs to be refined more before it can be used for people, but that is just my opinion

  • Author

your description of the issue is so vague that its hard to diagnose
