This is another feature request that will help us rank higher in search engines.

Please allow us to hide the status updates for guests. Reason being, when google indexes our forum, they see a bunch of status updates which have nothing to do with our niche/forum. People posts all types of off-topic updates. Since the status updates are on our index page of the forum, google see these keywords/phrases which will hinder our overall content. I'm only concerned about google seeing words/phrases that have to do with my niche -- in this case my forum is about cigars.

You could probably do it with some skin edits to conditional it out, although using that hook is far simpler and easier. :smile:
