Hexsplosions
http://www.invisionp...pricing-hosted/ When I'm hosting my own files on a third party server I can't see any easy way to determine which package I would require if I were to move to IPS hosting. This makes it very hard to do a comparison of IPS hosting costs versus my current host. Can you add a feature in the ACP that shows the "average" number of online users for the past 48 hours? This would help admins to make a comparison of services and potentially result in some moving their hosting [back] to IPS. If this feature already exists, please disregard all of the above and just tell me where it is.
• Jay •
That'd be a good addition to the statistics center.
Canal World
I would also support a 'average posts pre day' stat
Hexsplosions
I've still no idea which IPS package I would need, so I still can't do a comparison. So little support for this, I guess most folk aren't looking to transfer to IPS hosting.
ZakRhyno
Bingo. I like my own host make it more easy(er) to do things. Also when you/if you tranfer over to IPB your losing control over somethings like I believe third party addons and such.

You can't use independent third party scripts (such as WordPress) on our hosting.
Hexsplosions
Problem is though, Ryan, that I don't know which package I would need. There's nothing in the ACP that indicates which package I would need if I were to move to IPS. It's all well and good being able to run my software and addons, but I want to guage the cost in advance of moving.
Canal World
Tbh, as someone looking into there future hosting options have reached the limit of shared packages, there appears to be very little advice, and mixed advice at that, as to which way to go from here. Mid priced VPS, Small Dedicated option, chaos. The invision option is clearly a well supported one-stop-shop which is fair enough, but it does appear to charge handsomely for that at which point i'm currently still looking. Keep in mind that our hosting plans also include the cost of the software license in their monthly price. Problem is though, Ryan, that I don't know which package I would need. Do you usually have 10-20 users online? Usually 70-80 users online? That's the best way to get a rough amount. You can always aim lower and upgrade if needed, or aim higher and downgrade if needed.

I am not on the forum 24/7 to be able to gauge the difference between peak and off peak times. I'm UK based, for all I know I could have a flurry of Australians coming online when I am unconscious!
