I have noticed that in the quiz system, "signtures" do NOT show up..instead, the code appears. Is there a way to fix this?

Which version of Quiz are you using? Go to your AdminCP > System > Applications & Modules > Manage Applications & Modules.

I ask because this was a bug in Quiz 1.0.0 I think, and it should be fixed in 1.0.3, which is on the marketplace..

Now, I wanted to suggest the ability to add images to questions (which I think would make the quiz app even more interesting) to your tracker, but I came across a problem that I've mentioned before: registering at your site is pretty hard!

When trying to become a new member, I always get the challenge question wrong. What is the name of your site'

This looks like it's happening because you have no quizzes, though I've not run into that before.

To fix this, try the following:

Open admin/applications_addon/other/quiz/modules_public/categories/categories.php and find the following line (should be near line 95):

foreach ($_quizzes as $q) {

Replace that with:

if ($_quizzes) {
foreach ($_quizzes as $q) {

then find the following at around line 102/3:

            $quizzes[] = $q;

        }

Replace with:

            $quizzes[] = $q;

        }
}

Let me know if that fixes it. :)

There's nothing to prevent someone trying to find the answers before taking the quiz, making the timer relatively pointless.

Yes, this is possible with a template edit. :)

Go to your AdminCP, Look & Feel, Open skin_quiz > showQuiz, find the following:

<ol>

                            <foreach loop="$questions as $question">

                            <h4 class="rounded">{$question['question_name']}</h4>

                                <foreach loop="$question['answers'] as $answer">

                                    <li><input type="radio" name="answer_{$answer['question_id']}" id="answer_{$answer['question_id']}" class="input_radio" value="{$answer['question_id']}"> <label for="answer_{$answer['question_id']}">{$answer['question_name']}</label></li>

                                </foreach>

                            </foreach>

                        </ol>

Replace that with whatever you want. For example:

<p>To view the questions, please take this quiz</p>

Yes, with a template edit. :)

Open up your AdminCP > Look & Feel > Skin Name > skin_quiz > showCategory.

Find the following code:

            <li class="right"><img src="{$category['category_image']}" style="width:50px !important; height: 50px !important;" class="right" /></li>

and change to something this:

            <li><img src="{$category['category_image']}" style="width:50px !important; height: 50px !important;" /></li>

That'll move it to the left. To center it you'll need to add some extra CSS :)

In the same showCategory template, find:

                        <th width="150"></th>

Change to:

<th width="50">{$this->lang->words['quiz_author']}</th>

                        <th width="150"><img src="{$category['category_image']}" style="width:50px !important; height: 50px !important;" class="right" /></th>
