Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted August 24, 201212 yr Hi, I'm just editing some users in the Admin CP > Manage Members area. I noticed when you view a user's profile in the admin area it doesn't tell you things like "Last post on X day" or "Last visited on X". Also there is no easy link to view that users posts or the topics they started. So to view all of that I have to go and do another search on the memberlist on the main site. I'm used to vBulletin I guess, but it would be nice to see: post count, last visit date, last post date and a link to view their posts/topics. Anyone else think this would be a good addition to Admin CP?
August 24, 201212 yr This is a great idea. I fully support this. The more information available to admins/moderators about a member gives them a better picture to a members posting profile, to make better decisions based on post profiles/history etc.
October 11, 201212 yr Author Just wondering if anyone else thought this was a good idea? For example, if I want to view a user's posts from the AdminCP I currently have to manually copy and paste their username in to the forum's search engine. Why can't there be a link from the profile in AdminCP to show the users content?
October 13, 201212 yr Hi, I totally agree and would "love" that feature. I have to go back on the board and go to each members Profile, it is a little time consuming. Peace, Jan
November 22, 201212 yr Author I thought someone had replied to this with a solution? My question in a nutshell is: How do I easily view the posts/topics posted by a user when viewing their profile in the admin area?
November 27, 201212 yr Author Just bumping this in the hope an IPS staff member will reply :) Q: How do I easily view all the posts/topics by a user when viewing their profile in the admin area?
