Hi,

If people are using the mobile skin and click full version.

The i accept the use of cookies button does not work and just stays there.

Will this be possible to fix and if not, is there any other options people are using that work with mobile?

many thanks

yes - would you like to try it at http://www.myeurope.co.uk ?

Unless it is browser specific with the problem.

Hi,

Arh I see you were using an edited version

When I mouse over the accept cookie bar close link, yours looks the same as mine the the site url and a # at the end

This is strange.

I wonder if its because I have IPcontent configured to be the front index page

No, am not aware that my copy is edited. However I have made the change in the first post for duplicate on a custom skin.

When you did your edits, did you put in the full url or leave this bit the same as the default code - I have highlighted it in red

<div class="message" id="cookieBar" style="position: fixed; text-align: center; width: 100%; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 3000;">
{parse expression="sprintf($this->lang->words['cookieBarMessage'],$this->settings['board_name'],$data['url'],$this->settings['priv_title'])"}
<a href="#"
class="__pCoo input_submit" id="cookieBarSubmit">{$this->lang->words['cookieBarAccept']}</a>
</div>

Thanks again

My template file is

<if test="!$this->member->is_not_human">
<if test="allowCookies:|:strpos ( IPSCookie::get("allowCookies"), $this->settings['privCookieKey']) === FALSE">
    <script type="text/javascript" src="{$this->settings['board_url']}/public/js/ips.privacyCookie.js"></script>
    <div class="message" id="cookieBar" style="position: fixed; text-align: center; width: 100%; bottom: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 3000;">
        {parse expression="sprintf($this->lang->words['cookieBarMessage'],$this->settings['board_name'],$data['url'],$this->settings['priv_title'])"}
        <a href="#" class="__pCoo input_submit" id="cookieBarSubmit">{$this->lang->words['cookieBarAccept']}</a>
    </div>
<div class="message" id="cookiePlaceholder" style="display:none;">
</div>

    <if test="$this->settings['privCookieBlackout'] == 1">
        <div id='cookieBlackout' style="background-color: #000; opacity: 0.8; filter:alpha(opacity=8); position: fixed; width: 100%; height: 100%; top: 0px; left: 0px; z-index: 2999;"></div>
        <div id='hiddenPolicy' style='display:none;'>
            <h3>{$this->settings['priv_title']}</h3>
            <div class='ipsBox'>
                <div class='ipsBox_container ipsPad'>
                    {$data['priv_body']}
                </div>
            </div>
        </div>
    </if>
</if>
</if>

I am not showing it to non-humans and also show it in the footer.
