Mack_au Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Right now the poll system has two ways someone can answer. 1 vote. As many votes as they want. There needs to be an option to set how many votes someone can make.
AndyF Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 You mean with multiple choice polls, restrict to X number of checkbox's ? :) , I can see the value in that in some cases.
ran3v4 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 This is so obvious! Someone make a hook for it xD Donations coming!
Feld0 Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Suggested this last July: +1. It would be a great feature to have. :)
Mack_au Posted May 30, 2012 Author Posted May 30, 2012 Yep. I had one of my members get pissed off because he expected people to only vote for 2 or 3 of the options, but had some people vote for a lot of them. I also had a poll that I would have preferred to limit to max 2 but couldn't.
Cabola Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 +1 I support this for multiselect options votes! Would be nice to be able to say out of the set options you can only vote x of them.
Mack_au Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Bump again. It would also be good for the option to also include allowing only a specific number of votes, a specific number of times. So you can give one option 3 votes, one option 2 votes, and a third option 1 vote. Thanks.
