eGullet Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I have no idea what percentage of Invision customers are using Sphinx for their searches, but for those of us that are, a couple small-ish tweaks would let us leverage the power of that engine. First, it would be great to allow sorting by relevance (Sphinx can calculate this in a number of different ways). Second, it would be nice to allow users to use the advanced Sphinx search syntax, instead of dumbing everything down to use "AND"s or "OR"s.
