Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Marcher Technologies Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012  >_< How to start this off brilliantly... I have too much Content here. I cannot find some of my own posts at any given speed. I need to refine and search through my Submissions to the community. That is all. Quite certain others here have the same issue.
Guest Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Yes and the same with content followed. A listing available showing stuff sorted by last update for both would be hugely helpful ... oh and the date last update shown.
Marcher Technologies Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 I just use the advanced search. I've tried that actually.... when it still pops up limited at 200 with exact phrase matches, simply of my content.... then to go back to the form, or thumb through said pages, put in a better term(.... gods we need multidimensional search in IPB, filter further)... thumb through my content's pages.... it is beyond clumsy i guess is my point... read above... I said I cannot find some of my own posts at any given speed. I need to refine and search my content in a centralized area not consuming my time and making it a bulwark.
Marcher Technologies Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Also. simply look at the request this way. any staff here can relate to this. how long searching, for one popped question, that you posted the answer to.... do you manage to push? when is the point at which you simply cannot find it? Streamlining specifically a user finding their own content easily is all i seek.
Rimi Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Try displaying results as posts. I've done it often to find content from you and Michael.
