Need to now have Recent Gallery Images Hook and Shoubox hook blend in. How can I change the Grey backgrounds for the below hooks to be White .... i feel this will just Gel with this incredible SKIN

You'll need to find the gallery template for that hook (hookRecentGalleryImages inside Gallery Global) and remove the ipsBox class from it. (ipsBox) is used quite a bit throughout the forum so changing the CSS isn't wise.

It would be great if you guys could rate or review the skin on the IPS Marketplace as well. I'd really appreciate it :smile:

I've updated the download package which fixes that bug. You can use the upgrade option for the skin XML or:

Open includeCSS template:

find:

#content, .main_width { 

width: {$this->settings['simplifySkinWidth']}; !important; 

}

Replace with:

#content, .main_width { 

width: {$this->settings['simplifySkinWidth']} !important; 

}

For shoutbox the below doesn't seem to be taking effect

You're missing a ' on the second div.

If that doesn't help, try changing it to

Now the Grey boarder has gone . Makes it look great ...
However The Body of the shout box , is still grey .... any suggestions ?

Got It , in CSS ipshoutbox.css replace all d5dde5 with ffffff

Tom please confirm if ffffff is the correct code to match the white background .

That should be fine. It will only effect a couple of other areas but the change is so subtle, you probably won't even notice. (It probably looks better as well).

I'm guessing that this is because of your language. The font is being taken from Google Fonts so I would expect it to support all languages, perhaps not.

Go to the Look & Feel section in the ACP and edit the Simplify template. Go to the includeCSS template, and where it has:

#primary_nav #community_app_menu, .maintitle, .ipsSideBlock h3, table.ipb_table h4, table.ipb_table .topic_title, 

.ipsType_pagetitle, .ipsType_subtitle, .post_block h3 span.author, .post_block h3.guest, #breadcrumb, .breadcrumb.bottom, .breadcrumb.top, 

.ipsBadge, .siteLogo, .guestMessage h3, .icon_no_new_posts, .icon_new_posts, .icon_redirect, .last_post, .col_c_stats

{

font-family: Yanone Kaffeesatz;

}

Change the "Yanone Kaffeesatz" part to a different font of your choice and see if it fixes it.

We've installed your Simplify skin on our site. Have you had any problems with Windows XP? None of the links in upper right corner (above search field) appear as links. (quick nav, IM, notifications, user name, etc) They are fine in Windows 7, Mac OS.

I have cleared my cache, refreshed the page, rebooted. They still do not appear as links.

Have you installed the skin as per the instructions included in the download package? Try re-installing the skin following those instructions.

If that doesn't help, can you send me the URL to your forum so I can take a look?

Another one of our people just confirmed that he is having the same problem on a Windows 7 machine.

I did not install the theme but I will find out about the installation.

I've just updated Simplify with a new font which should support foreign characters just fine. I've also added a new option in the settings to change the header fonts. This is just a BETA at the moment so please report any issues if you do install it.
