Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Tremault Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 "Get the free IP.Board App for iPhone now!" so i click on that, and it says 'request no completed'. so I search the iPhone marketplace for an app and it brings back nothing. so why are you linking to an app that doesn't exist? or have I missed something?
Aiwa Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 There WAS an app, but has since been removed, and there WILL be a new app soon...
miraclesun Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 There should be a new app for iOS + Android within the next month or two (I'm guessing). It's currently in Beta stage.
Tremault Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 hmm, i think they should talk to apple about having some kind of placeholder. it seems pretty unprofessional the way it currently is. cheers guys.
CoolRunning Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Indeed. I provided the link in a thread on our own forum (can't test it myself as I don't use iStuff), and the response was that it doesn't go anywhere. As said above, pretty unprofessional.
Rhett Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 I'm speculating here, but if we could have done a placeholder, I think we probably would have, I'm not sure if they allow such a thing?... it should be very soon though..and worth the wait as well.
Cyrem Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 pretty unprofessional. I like how people make their own views of what 'professional' is and judge others by it. Makes me laugh.
