Suggestion: Display Name Changes and Quotes

Is it possible to have display name changes update retroactively in quotes? Or is that not possible because it is stored as text in a post? Could they be stored a different way?

I know you could argue that the name stays the same because that's what it was when they made the post BUT the postbit updates, so it does not match.

So just wondering.
