Having minor issues on 3.4.x, as another player mentioned. I think the bbCode functions changed in 3.4 and an update is required.

Example:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method parseBbcode::processRawPost() in
/var/www/prod/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/modules_admin/games/gameedit.php
on line 145

Hi

I have two issues :

  • is there a solution to just keep high scores, not all scores sent (by same player)?
  • sometimes, when favorites games are removed, images (not visible) are always here. Is there a way to remove completly game link (in Fav area) which doesn't exist?

hank you.

1) That was actually what the prune tool was created to do... it's not functioning correctly, however, and hopefully will be fixed in the next version.

2) Fixed for next version.

I did a new clean install of iArcade v1.3.0 Beta 1 for my 3.4.3 board using this link: iArcade_1.3_Beta1_editorpatch.zip

Everything installed fine and looks great. However, even after ensuring all permissions were set properly so that groups can see and play games, the included bubbles game didn't show up. I then went to ibpArcade and downloaded a free game there that I then uploaded to the arcade on my forums. Yet, no games show up. My folders are cmodded correctly. So, I recached and it didn't work. I then removed the game I uploaded and tried again. This time, I got this error when trying to upload:

There appears to be an error with the database.

If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again.

You can try to refresh the page by clicking here

Well, I double checked my install to see if I missed something and I can't find any issues. No idea what's causing the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the effort, but it didn't work on 3.3.4. I just got this when trying to edit a game:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method classes_editor_composite::setLegacyMode() in /home/eric/public_html/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/modules_admin/games/gameedit.php on line 86

No harm though, I backed everything up first. It might work on 3.4, I don't know because I reverted back to 3.3 since it messed up too many of my hooks and skins.

Probably some PHP error. Check your server error log.

Thanks for the reply. I see these errors in my logs, other than this nothing.

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function catList() on a non-object in /home/FOLDER/public_html/forums/admin/applications_addon/other/iArcade/sources/arcadeLib.php on line

Make sure all your files are uploaded correctly, and recache your skins.

The thing is some games work, while others dont. So this cant be because of the files themselves (at least i think). So i tried to install the same games that were available on your site (official iarcade forum) but couldn't do it with all the games e.g. Tower Block doesn't install but its working fine on your board (getting the same white screen). While some of the other games install + work fine (the drunk guy game, gold miner, bubbles etc.)

To be fair, our board isn't the best example of what works and what doesn't. I don't think any of the games were installed through the admin panel, but rather directly into the database during development. :p

Saying that, I'll test a few things out of my dev board for you over the rest of the weekend. No promises though!
